Sarah's Pumpkin Patch

Welcome to Sarah's Pumpkin Patch!  Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin patch in southeastern Madison County, Virginia that is located on a working family farm.  5 acres of pumpkins to choose from!

Please, no pets.
UPDATES: 10/29
- The patch will be OPEN on Saturday, November 1 from 10:00-5:00 and Sunday, November 2 from 1:00-4:00.
- The patch will be CLOSED on Friday, October 31.
- There will be no hayrides on Saturday, November 1 or Sunday, November 2.  The corn maze, hay maze, sunflowers, and pumpkins will be available.
- There are still TONS of pumpkins in the field!  For the final two days that the patch is open, you can fill a wagon for $20 and a wheelbarrow for $30.

2025 Announcements

Opening Day: Saturday, September 27!
 
Hours:
Saturdays: 10 am - 5 pm
Sundays: 12 pm - 5 pm
Wednesdays and Fridays: 3:30 pm - 6 pm


Pumpkins: $.80/pound, no pumpkin more than $12
Wagon Deals Available- Fill a Wagon for $70 or a Wheelbarrow for $85 (a wheelbarrow is approximately 1.5 wagons).  You must use our wagons and wheelbarrows.  
$5 discount on wagons and wheelbarrows if you pay in cash!

Over 20 different varieties of pumpkins to choose from!

This is a TRUE pick your own experience!  The pumpkins are still attached to the vines and will need to be cut off of them.  You can either bring your own clippers or we have some that you can borrow (you will need to trade out a credit card/drivers license/car keys/etc. that we will give you back when you return our clippers.)

BACK FOR 2025- Pick your own sunflowers! 1/4 acre of multi colored sunflowers to choose from. Sunflowers are $2/stem

Update 10/12:  The sunflowers are FINALLY blooming!  The orange/yellow ones are in just starting to consistently bloom and the other colors (white, purple, multi color, light yellow) are well on their way.  They should be in full bloom by later this week and next weekend (10/18-10/19).

​4 ACRE CORN MAZE!
Corn Maze Admission: $5 for Ages 12 and up, $3 for ages 5-11, 4 and under are free

The pumpkin patch was started in 2010 because of Sarah's love of pumpkins, and desire to educate the public about agriculture. The pumpkin patch began in 2010 with just three weekends, and has grown- in attendance, in patch size, and in offerings. We are so excited to have you visit!
